Built to last.

Removed the old rotten sleeper retainer and replaced it with a more stylish and permanent solution.

New foundations dug and poured and 6" concrete block retainer built.
A new drain has been installed behind the wall and a silt trap constructed before it was connected into the original house surface water down pipe.

The customer liked the look of the buff Strathmore walling to keep the similar look with the block work on the house and the Indian sandstone has been used for the coping to keep the natural look and contrast.

Been back to one of our past customers for more work to be done.

The customer had asked for a shelter/lean too for a seating area I only had a brief description and left the rest to us.

We installed the 150mmx150mm posts to support the structure and all the framework is built with 6x2 joists.

We installed the 10mm polycarbinet roofsheets with the correct jointing strips and end trims.

A fascia board has been installed and black gutter and down pipe too keep the look of the original on the house.

The customer is very happy with the finished results and said its better than what was imagined.

We have been doing a little maintenance job recently. We have been installing some drainage channels on this job to help with water run off and puddling on the customers pathway.

No problems now 👍👌

Removed all the old planters and decking on this job for a more kid friendly area.

Some paving was uplifted and re laid to create a small seating area.
A braked play area has been formed with sleepers for the kids trampoline and toys.
And a nice sized lawn laid with fresh top soil and lush green turf.

🕶️☀️Lovely to see the sun out again and perfect timing for our customers to enjoy this new stunning patio/ seating area. ☀️🕶️

We dug out the sloped grass area and created this amazing seating area with the global stone mercury sandstone porcelain paving and built the retaining wall to keep the flower bed at the rear and all the walling was cladded with global stones new stunning Z range lava cladding.

As always the steps get the BMC touch with the bullnoised edge and drip line.

The bespoke pergola was also built by us to try and hide the bland looking garage wall.

All grouted with a light grey grout to bring this clean modern and stylish patio together.

Driveway extension done for our customer this week.

Removed all the shrubs to make more room on the driveway.
New retaining wall built and tar reinstated to match the original driveway surface.

Also supplied and erected the new feather edge fence and gate. The fence was also installed around the old garage base to create a private seating area.

BMC Groundworks and Maintenance are very proud to be able to sponsor our young talented local girls at Bannockburn Girls FC u14's with their new away strip.

Also a proud father as my girl also plays in this great team of hard working young girls/friends and she played well today to end up with player of the match.

All I ask from my followers is if you could hit the like button on the girls team FB page to show some support as a small gesture can give a lot of support and confidence for the girls.

Full garden dig out and new patios installed.

Removed all the old paving and fence.
The customer had supplied the new fence post that have been installed just waiting on the new panels for the customer to fit.

We supplied and installed the new Jewell smokey porcelain paving with a jewell ashen border.
With new galvanized Channel drains installed and new cast aluminium roding point to blend in with the border.
(Joint it 2 part grout still to be done due to the weather)

As always terram,type one subbase,screed bed and fully primed.

The customer is planning on finishing the area with some planting areas and a new lawn.

We are out in all weathers trying to complete jobs to keep on schedule as the diary is filling up very fast.

We can create your ideal outdoor space but unfortunately we can't control the weather.

Still out working around the weather this week.

A new double gate and single gate supplied and built.
3.5m wide and 1.8m high. 100mm slats with a 20mm gap built to the customers spec.

Installed 150mm x 150mm posts for the double gates to make sure they are built to last with the heavy duty hinges and a horizontal removable brace fitted. The 100mmx 100mm post would have flexed and the gates would have eventually dropped.

All new iron work fitted.
2 Slip bolts, 1 ground bolt, 6 hook and band hinges,3 heavy duty t hinges.
