UFH shenanigans this week. We came into this job at short notice and I have to say, it’s been a little out of our comfort zone picking up where another installer left off with an UFH subfloor already built, ready for an UFH system we’ve never done before. Always satisfying when it comes together. Another one filled and at pressure. 👌 Thanks for supplying

✨ Another quality boiler installation completed. ✨

This customer’s old boiler was still running, but wasn’t safe and had lived long enough!!!

Here are just a couple of the issues we found:
🛑A badly rusted gas pipe caused by a leaking expansion vessel.
🛑A large hole drilled into the side of the old boiler.
🛑Overall, it was probably one of the most “written off” boilers we’ve ever seen that was somehow still working!

After discussing the options, the customer chose a Glow-worm Compact 24kW combi boiler. It’s an excellent entry-level boiler that offers fantastic value for money, providing reliable heating and hot water without the premium price tag.

As part of the installation, we also made several improvements to the system:
✅ Installed a brand-new Glow-worm Compact 24kW combi boiler.
✅ Fitted a new Glow-worm controller, giving the customer simple control over their heating and hot water.
✅ Installed a magnetic system filter to help keep the system clean and protect the new boiler for years to come.
✅ Replaced the condensate pipework with a brand-new external condensate run.
✅ Left the customer with a clean, tidy installation that’s safer, more efficient and far more reliable than what was there before.

We don’t just swap boilers—we look at the whole system to make sure everything is installed properly and built to last.

Looking back to a recent visit to Heat Geek HQ to look at the new Vaillant Arotherm Pro. We are just a couple of weeks away from fitting our first one provided Vaillant UK get the electrical registration sorted for the DNO 🤞🏻

These units are sexier, more efficient and smaller than ever, meaning more people want them and more properties can have them.

PS sorry Adam but I couldn’t resist the photo op of putting my feet up on the boss’ desk! 😜

The search for the UK's best heating installer

We’ve been fitting these boilers for 10 years now and I love love love them. 18 year warranty with a controller and filter. This one is the crème de la creme, Economiser Plus combi with flue gas heat recovery making it the most efficient boiler in Europe.

We’re also service agents so deliver the warranty. It’s great to be able to promise people the best possible aftercare. I’ve done bags of warranty calls over the years as every manufacturer has warranty calls, and Atag have never quibbled over a thing. We’ve got a hundred or so of these boilers out there and only had a few issues.

Reliable, high performance, mega efficient kit that’s easy to maintain. Proper boiler!
