Even when I’m not working, I can’t help but notice drainage! 😂

Spotted these incredible rainwater downpipes at Cromer Parish Church. Rather than hiding the drainage away, they’ve made it part of the architecture, with these amazing carved animal heads directing the rainwater into the downpipes.

Drainage with a bit more character than the usual cast iron downpipe! 👌

Amazing to think how much thought went into something as simple as managing rainwater on buildings like this.
