Wow!! Just Wow!! What a transformation from start to finish this was. When we first looked at this garden back in November last year it was reeling from being a dumping ground whilst our clients house was remodelled. Enter Zoe Kilbride Garden Design and her vision to transform it to a resting wild oasis. We’ve levelled it, built a pergola installed clay pavers for access, laid shade loving wildflower turf and super quality green fenland turf. We’ve planted to Zoe’s design and we think it looks amazing. Whilst there we also thought that the front was feeling a little neglected so with a spare couple of hours one day we dug that over, spread some topsoil and scattered butterfly and insect loving wildflower seed there. We can’t wait to pop by later in the summer to see it all growing on.

Sometimes a job comes along that we get really excited about. We’ve posted about this house before, it’s where we built a kingfisher nesting box recently, and our clients asked us back to shore up the river bank for them. Waders on and in we go!! I think you’ll agree this transformation is pretty amazing…

The sun’s out and that makes us happy! What that also means is that our clients are getting their gardens sorted for summer. This was an old inherited garden that didn’t really suit this family’s needs and so we set about a transformation to make it ready for them to enjoy for years to come. The new porcelain patio replaced the tired old deck in the sunny part of the garden, and a little corner patio has been created for a BBQ area. We also refreshed the stepping stones, sleeper beds and fences across the garden and re-seeded grass areas that needed it.

A cracking little revamp and extension of a tired outdoor space finished up today. A really nice choice of a wood effect porcelain slab to carry on the detail of the indoor flooring to the patio outside. All that’s needed now is the dining table and chairs that we are delivering tomorrow and this garden is summer ready!!
