Secondary glazing adds an extra glazed layer inside the existing window, making it worth considering when original timber sash windows are worth keeping. Double glazing can make sense in new bespoke sash windows, or suitable existing sashes where the frame and mechanism can accommodate it.

The best choice depends on your home, the condition of the windows and what you want to improve. Draughts, outside noise, ventilation and everyday opening all deserve attention.

Always good to get out and see how amazing our handmade doors look when installed in a clients home.
