Always good to get out and see how amazing our handmade doors look when installed in a clients home.
And looks even better against the red brickwork in this lovely Tyne Valley home.

A little onsite project completed at a local church in Durham.
A good week to be working out on site 🌞

Upgrading the existing single glazed casement windows to double glazed, using Accoya® Wood timber plant ins and new glazing beads. Finished in Sikkens Wood Coatings stain.

Fresh out of the workshop and ready for its new home 🌿🚪

Meet our latest bespoke door — hand built from scratch and finished in a gorgeous deep Jewel Beetle by Little Greene that just glows in the sun. Four-panel glazed top, solid raised panel below, and a proper old-school brass letterplate to match.

But the real showstopper is that antique brass door furniture. Proper weight to it, warm aged tone, the kind of hardware that just doesn’t come on anything off-the-shelf. Paired with the matching k**b and thumb-turn, it’s got that timeless, characterful look that ties the whole thing together.

Every joint, every panel, every bit of glazing bar on this one was made by hand in the workshop — no shortcuts, no flat-pack . Just proper traditional joinery for a front door that’ll outlast the house around it.
