This client in walton called saying she had rats outside, after popping over and taking a look it became apparent that the bird feeders were the problem.
The birds feed on the feeders and drop lots of seed on the ground which attracts the rodents especially as the colder weather draws in, we have advised this client to purchase feeders with catch trays to reduce the amount of seed spilled off the feeders.
External boxes have been places in the most active areas and we will follow up in 10 days time.

This client in ashford called us out after hearing what he thought might be squirrels or rats in the loft.
We attended and found lots of fresh rat activity in the loft, cables stripped, timber chewed and insulation shredded, this is textbook for rats and the droppings confirmed it.

After looking around the outside of property no obvious ingress points were found so we lifted the drains and found lots of activity, after doing a camera survey of all the lines we found multiple faults that could be allowing the rats into the floor/wall cavity.

We will be posting our follow up visit in a weeks time.

Another job coming to a close in windsor.
This customer first discovered a rat issue when the plumbing in there extension started leaking and after a plumber came out and cut the ceiling open he found the pipes had been gnawed through, after lots of investigation including a drain camera survey it was found that the rats had escaped the drain system under the extension, due to access being difficult we have installed a valve into the end of the affected lateral to prevent the rats entering this again, the rats also burrowed out next to the foundation so we have concreted this over to prevent rats dropping in from above ground and restarting the issue.

Client in Staines called after suffering with rats repeatedly over the last 12-16 months.
We were the second pest control company to come out, the first could not identify the ingress points but thats where we shine.
Faults were found in the active drain line and the old line had been made redundant but had not been capped off.

We have installed a non return valve to the active line and fitted a b**g in the redundant line and capped the interceptor line too.
Some cement work needed addressing in the manhole and a manhole cover needed re bedding aswell.

Following on from the last post, this client in epsom has reported that the noises in the ceiling cavity have stopped, after lifting up the manhole both large blocks of bait have been eaten.

This client opted for a non return valve to prevent future ingress as they have a manhole beneath the floor in there office which they do not want to excavate.

Dealing with rats for a customer in epsom, rat activity has been occurring for years with multiple companies attending and not being able to source the problem.
A quick look into the drains at the front revealed fresh rat activity which prompted a camera survey.
We very quickly found a manhole that we were not aware of, after following the general direction of the line and clearing some clutter and an old rug away we found the manhole, the edges have been grouted in and the keyholes to lift the lid have been sealed.
We gave baited the drains and advised that we need access into this manhole to increase our chances of providing a permanent solution.
