Job Overview
Self-Employed Joiner / Carpenter
Location: Various Sites Throughout the UK
Job Type: Self-Employed / Subcontractor
Rate: Negotiable Depending on Experience
Role Overview
We are seeking experienced and reliable self-employed Joiners/Carpenters to join our growing team working on commercial and residential projects throughout the UK. The successful candidates will be required to carry out a wide range of first and second fix carpentry works to a high standard whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices on site.
Key Responsibilities
Installation of fire doors and certified door sets.
First and second fix carpentry works.
Installation of ironmongery, architraves, skirting boards and bespoke joinery.
Kitchen and fitted furniture installation.
Reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within programme requirements.
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Liaising professionally with site management, clients and other trades.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Joiner/Carpenter.
Must have own transport and be willing to travel to various sites throughout the UK.
Own professional tools required.
Valid CSCS Card.
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry and Joinery (preferred).
Experience fitting fire doors and completing associated compliance paperwork is advantageous.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Reliable, professional and punctual.
