Today, on World Teachers’ Day, we’re celebrating the teachers who make a difference to the lives of children and young people every day.

With strong roots in the education sector, RAEBUILD understands that the environment in which teachers teach and pupils learn can make a real difference.

Through our work with schools, academies and colleges, we help create safe, comfortable, practical and inspiring learning environments – from classroom and staff area refurbishments to planned maintenance, extensions and new-build projects.

We also understand the importance of working around the needs of a busy school. Careful planning, coordination and, where possible, scheduling works outside teaching hours all help us minimise disruption and ensure teachers can concentrate on what matters most – their pupils.

We’re proud to play our part in creating and improving education environments where teachers can teach effectively and pupils can thrive.

To all teachers and education professionals, thank you for everything you do.

Members of the RAEBUILD management team headed to the NEC Birmingham yesterday to visit UK Construction Week 2026.

It was a great opportunity to take some time away from the day-to-day, meet a number of exhibitors and catch up with people from across the construction industry.

Events like UK Construction Week provide a useful opportunity to see what’s happening across the sector, make new connections and speak directly with businesses supplying products and services to the industry.

Thanks to everyone who took the time to chat with us during our visit.

Another education project successfully completed in time for the start of the new school year in September.

Our team recently completed a comprehensive refurbishment programme at Offley Primary School Academy in Sandbach for our client St. Bart's Multi-Academy Trust transforming five classrooms along with adjoining corridors and pupil washrooms into bright, modern and practical learning environments.

The improved layouts and upgraded facilities help strengthen safeguarding and pupil wellbeing, while fresh, high-quality finishes create environments that encourage pride and positive behaviour. For teaching staff, the refurbished classrooms provide practical, well-equipped spaces that support high-quality teaching and learning. Another excellent example of how a carefully planned refurbishment can make a real difference to pupils, staff and the wider school community.

Another recently completed education project for the RAEBUILD team.

Following flood damage in 2025, we completed a comprehensive programme of refurbishment works at Paget High School in Burton-upon-Trent, transforming affected areas into modern, practical and durable learning spaces.

Works included the refurbishment of classrooms, specialist science rooms, corridors and washrooms, with new flooring, ceilings, lighting, laboratory furniture, M&E services, sanitaryware and internal finishes.

A great result for the school, providing refreshed facilities that support teaching, practical learning and pupil wellbeing.
