We love hearing feedback like this from our customers! 🌟

Mat recently had a full solar, battery, expansion pack and car charger system installed by the team, and it's brilliant to hear how smoothly the whole process went from the initial survey right through to the finished job. Matt's advice and planning, combined with an install team who left everything clean and tidy, is exactly what we aim for on every project we take on.

If you've been considering solar, battery storage or an EV charger for your own home and want to know what to expect, reviews like this are a great place to start. We're always happy to chat through what might work for your property.

Thank you again, Mat, for taking the time to leave such a lovely review!

While you're off enjoying the last bank holiday weekend of summer, your solar panels are still hard at work. ☀️

Away for a few days or just pottering in the garden? That's no bad thing if you've got solar and a battery. All that generation still has to go somewhere, so instead of it heading straight back to the grid, your battery quietly tops itself up while the house sits empty.

Come home from the long weekend and there's a good chance you'll find it sitting there fully charged, ready to go without drawing a thing from the grid.

Enjoy the bank holiday. If a set up like that sounds appealing, drop us a message 🔋

As summer starts winding down, this is exactly when booking ahead pays off. 📅

Every year, once the weather turns and energy bills start creeping back into people's minds, installers get busier and lead times start stretching out. Booking now, while things are still a little quieter, means your new system can often be fitted well before the shorter days and colder months arrive.

It also means you get the benefit of what is left of the summer sunshine working in your favour from day one, rather than waiting until well into autumn to see it properly earning its keep.

If upgrading your home's energy setup has been on your mind, now is a genuinely good time to get the conversation started. Drop us a message and let's see what fits 🔧

Behind every solar panel you see on this page is a team who got up early to put it there. 🛠️

Most days start well before the sun is properly up, vans loaded and the day's job list sorted before the first cup of tea even gets a look in. Whether it is a rooftop install or an EV charger going in, there is a lot of early starts and hard graft that goes on behind the scenes before a job ever makes it onto social media.

It is easy to just see the finished result, a neat row of panels or a smart new charger on the wall, but there is a genuinely proud team of people behind every single one of those jobs.

Fancy having the team round for your next project? Drop us a message and let's have a chat 🚐

Did you know your solar panels actually prefer a cool, bright day over a scorching hot one? ☀️

It sounds backwards, but panels lose a small amount of efficiency for every degree the temperature climbs above roughly twenty five degrees. So while a blazing hot afternoon still generates plenty of power thanks to all that sunlight, a bright and slightly cooler day can actually see your panels working that bit more efficiently hour for hour.

It is nothing to worry about. Panels are built to handle heat perfectly well and the difference is small, usually only a few percent even on the hottest days. It is simply one of those quirks of how solar technology works, and a good reminder that sunshine and heat are not quite the same thing when it comes to generating power.

Running a business often means the electricity meter never stops, even when trade slows right down. ⚡

Refrigeration and computer systems carry on regardless of how quiet August might feel, which is exactly why so many commercial premises are turning to solar. A well sized system can significantly cut those daytime running costs, using free generation to power the parts of your business that never really switch off.

It works particularly well for warehouses, offices and retail units with plenty of roof space going unused, turning what is currently just a roof into something that actively works in your favour. The saving builds month after month, not just during the sunniest weeks of summer.

If rising energy costs have been on your mind for the business, drop us a message and let's talk through what commercial solar could look like for you 🏢

Got solar panels? A few small changes to when you do things could genuinely make a difference this summer. ☀️

Most solar homes still send a fair amount of free electricity back to the grid simply because appliances get used at the wrong time of day. Shifting things like the washing machine or dishwasher to run while the sun is out means you use far more of what your panels are actually generating, rather than paying to draw it back later in the evening.

The same goes for charging laptops or an EV. With the kids off school and everyone around the house more during the day this month, it is actually a great time to build these little habits before autumn routines take over again.

Most of us are winding down for the night. For EV chargers and battery systems, the day is just getting started. 🌙

Overnight is when electricity is at its cheapest for a lot of households, especially those on a smart or time of use tariff. It's exactly why so many EV chargers and battery setups are scheduled to kick in once the clock ticks past a certain hour, quietly topping up while everyone is asleep and ready to go again by the time you wake up.

No faffing about, no remembering to plug in at the right moment. Just smart, automatic charging that works around the cheapest part of the day rather than the most convenient looking one.

Curious whether your setup could be doing the same? Drop us a message and let's talk 🔌

Reviews like this are exactly why we do what we do 🌟

A huge thank you to Stuart for these kind words. Nothing beats hearing that a customer felt looked after from start to finish, especially when it comes to something as important as their home's solar installation. Matt and the team always aim to make the whole process straightforward, from that first conversation right through to the panels going up on the roof.

If you're weighing up solar for your own home, reviews like this are a good reminder that it comes down to more than just the panels themselves. The right team makes all the difference.

Ever added up what it actually costs to keep a farm running through summer? 🚜

From refrigeration and irrigation through to the machinery running day to day, farms use a serious amount of power, and that usage only climbs when the weather heats up.

It is one of the reasons more farm owners are turning to solar, using their own land and buildings to generate electricity instead of watching those costs creep up every year.

A well designed system can be sized around exactly how your farm operates, whether that means covering daytime machinery use or pairing with battery storage to keep things running once the sun goes down.

It is not a one size fits all setup, which is exactly the point.

If energy costs have been creeping up on your farm, drop us a message and let's talk through your options 🌾
