Local Scaffolding Ltd at Bedford School… when their historic pavilion clock tower needed repairing we were on site to lend a hand 🫡.

This scaffold wasn’t quite the straightforward setup we’d originally anticipated. Once on site, we found a porch roof that meant we had to work around some unexpected constraints.

Our usual approach would have been to configure the scaffold slightly differently, but we were working with the kit originally planned for the job, so we had to think on our feet and adapt the setup to suit what we found.

We made sure the customer had clear access to the clock tower so they can safely carry out their works.

Another solar project in the bag 😎.
Erected in deadline to ensure no delays for our client, access needed to be kept through the double leaf automated gate so each elevation was cantilevered to the corner, and on the rear elevation beam work secured to the external wall also had to be installed over the insulated conservatory roof.

Our team smashed the erect, our client has completed the install and the dismantle is already booked in for the end of next week… professional service, you can trust to deliver and rely on every single time…

Scaffolder Labourer / CISRS Part 1 Scaffolder / CISRS Part 2 Scaffolder

Due to continued growth, Local Scaffolding Ltd is looking to recruit a Scaffolder Labourer, CISRS Part 1 Scaffolder or CISRS Part 2 Scaffolder to join our team.

While we’re not recruiting for a set number of positions, we’re always interested in hearing from the right people. If we find exceptional candidates, we may recruit more than one.

What we’re looking for…
We welcome applications from:
● Experienced Scaffolder Labourers
● CISRS Part 1 Scaffolders
● CISRS Part 2 Scaffolders
Ideal applicants will have:
● A full UK driving licence (preferred)
● Relevant qualifications, such as COTS or CISRS Part 1/Part 2 (where applicable)
● A strong work ethic and a positive attitude
● Excellent reliability, punctuality and professionalism

Above all, we want people who take pride in their work, work well as part of a team, and represent the company to a high standard.

Working hours:
● Start from our yard at 6:30am or 7:00am, depending on the day’s location.
● We aim to finish on site between 3:30pm and 4:00pm.
● Any work that NEEDS to be carried out on site after 4:00pm is paid as overtime.

Hugely proud of our Hemingfords U8 Bluesocks for reaching the league cup final!

Unfortunately it wasn’t to be for them this year as they narrowly missed out on penalties after a fantastic game of football!!

Scaffold Labourer Wanted

Due to continued growth, we are looking to take on a Scaffold Labourer to join our team.

We are an expanding scaffolding company working predominantly across Cambridge, Peterborough, and Bedford.

Role Details
• Self-employed position
• Start time 6:30–7:00am at the yard depending on the job location
• Immediate start available

Requirements
• CSCS / COTS card preferred but not essential for labourers
• Full UK driving licence preferred, but not essential if you can reliably get to the yard
• Must be reliable, and willing to work hard
• Good attitude and ability to work as part of a team
• Comfortable working outdoors and in a physically demanding role

Pay
• To be discussed depending on experience

Benefits
• Opportunity for training and progression towards becoming a fully qualified scaffolder
