10-metre bespoke wooden pergola completed 🌿

Another project completed by Allgood Landscapes & Fencing — this time a substantial 10 metre wooden pergola, carefully constructed and erected.

The pergola has been designed to create a strong feature through the garden while providing plenty of support for the customer’s established climbing plants, which will gradually be trained up and across the structure to create a beautiful natural canopy.

A challenging installation, made even more demanding by completing it single-handed during the recent heatwave! ☀️🥵

The timber has been finished to complement the garden, and I think the end result makes a fantastic feature that will only get better as the planting matures.

Another garden completely transformed.

It’s always satisfying looking back at the before photos!

The tired, uneven patio was replaced with a beautiful large-format porcelain paving installation, creating a bright, modern outdoor space that’s built to last. To maintain a seamless finish, the manhole cover has also been inset with matching porcelain tiles, blending perfectly into the patio.

We’ll be sharing some close-up photos of the finer details and workmanship in a separate post, so keep an eye out!

Almost finished the paving, and then on to the finishing touches of the block edging. Working in the heatwave is challenging at times but also rewarding when you see it all come together

This patio area is starting to take shape now. Having the porcelain tiles laid on a stable base increases the lifespan and prevents sinking & movement

Garden Renovation & Completion Project

Allgood Landscapes was contacted by the homeowner after a previous contractor had started the garden renovation but failed to complete the project.

Upon arrival, the paving had been partially installed but remained unfinished, with joints ungrouted and significant areas of the garden left incomplete. The site lacked definition and could not be used as intended.

I took over the project and completed the remaining landscaping works, which included:

* Completing and finishing the sandstone paving installation
* Grouting all paving areas
* Sealing the patio surfaces to help protect and preserve the slabs
* Installing block edging to create clean, defined borders
* Constructing raised timber sleeper planters
* Preparing the ground and installing artificial grass
* Creating decorative stone feature areas
* Installing and completing the porcelain patio for a seating area
* Carrying out all final finishing works to bring the project to completion

The planting was later added by the homeowner, who has done a fantastic job putting the finishing touches to the spaces

The finished garden now provides a practical, low-maintenance outdoor space with distinct entertaining, seating and lawn areas, all finished to a high standard.

The before and after photographs highlight the transformation from an incomplete project to a fully finished garden that the client can now enjoy.

Front garden transformation completed by Allgood Landscapes & Fencing🌿
This project included a full strip out and ground preparation, followed by fresh turfing with a crisp striped finish.
New planting borders were installed to frame the lawn and finished it off with decorative fence panels to really open up and modernise the space
