Learn to make strawberry jam while exploring the teachings of the strawberry. Together, we'll discuss the importance of kindness, respect, connection, and healthy relationships, and how these teachings can guide us in our everyday lives. Take home your own jar of strawberry jam to enjoy!

🌱 Youth Stewardship Training Program – Registration Open! 🌱

Are you interested in learning more about land stewardship, environmental monitoring, and Haudenosaunee knowledge while gaining valuable skills and certifications?

The Youth Stewardship Training Program is a 9-week paid training opportunity for youth ages 15–29, offered through a partnership between the Oneida Youth Stewardship Initiative, Western University, and the White Corn Resurgence Project.

Beginning June 29, participants will take part in hands-on, land-based learning rooted in Haudenosaunee culture and community stewardship. Youth will learn alongside knowledge keepers, mentors, and community partners while exploring environmental science, traditional teachings, food sovereignty, and cultural revitalization.

Participants will receive:
✅ 4 Micro-Credentials
✅ Certificate of Completion
✅ Exposure to Environmental Science and Indigenous Studies pathways
✅ Hands-on experience in environmental and land stewardship practices
