We are specialists when it comes to understanding and identifying pest insects.
This particular site had an infestation of psocids, which after identification meant a very different root cause analysis and treatment plan than the client had expected.

After an interesting talk from NatureScot this week we've decided to pop in a gull species for this weeks frIDay. A key point we heard from their bird licensing team was a reminder that you need to try all methods available during the winter, as it's outside of breeding season, before they will issue a license.
So if your pest control company is pushing for work to go ahead, it's because they will have no power to deal with nesting gulls when they start causing you problems.
