We recently carried out an emergency survey after a Victorian iron retaining ring fell 150 feet from the top of a chimney writing off a vehicle below. Any one underneath at the time would have been killed and the urgency was to check the status of the whole structure given it was above a factory entrance and busy street.
Within hours we had carried out eh work and the client was able to a organise required work, minimising disruption and costs and maximising safety.
Regular checks can prevent such issues but when a collapse does occur we are here to help.
The client wrote to say "We were very pleased with the job. It gave us detailed information on the work we needed to complete, it was cost effective compared to the alternatives and we were able to form a robust plan. The conservation works were instructed and completed without incident and the chimney is now safe"

You may find this useful if you need to hire a drone operator.
Any form of paid work is commercial and falls under tighter legal restrictions. "Commercial" has a wide definition. If you hire a drone operator who is not licenced properly ( E.g. use a member of staff with a his own drone) the law will not give you a defence. Consequences can be nasty ( loss of drones, 4 figure fines etc) and unwanted so please give this a read and then you know what to do.
