What a transformation....

Despite the rear elevation being north facing this new kitchen, dining and living space is bright, airy and well connected to the garden. The addition of a lean too roof light and clearstory glazing brings flood the space in ambient light.

The sleek design and clean lines are mirrored in the material choice and layout of the new kitchen which helps to tie the interior and exterior of the design together.

Its finally here! 👀

Some sunny shots of our most recently completed extension in Birkdale, Southport. The brief was to link the tradtional Victorian property with its garden as the old layout was disjointed, dark and had no views.

Our approach was to achieve a sleek new addtioan that complimented the exisitng property and provided a special new addtioan. This was accomplished by adding an internal level change to separate the proposal from the original, traditional property. The character was maintained and a new glazed rear elevation has been added. The result is a beautiful family room and kitchen along with lots of hidden ancillary functions. The project delivers practicality, modern living and much more excitement!

We all love a good before and after post.... and theyre even better when the original kitchen was this 'unique' 👀

After much deliberation we decided to loose the open plan kitchen / conservatory with no windows.... instead the entire property has been overhauled to form an unrecognisable transformarion.

The new bungalow is bright, free flowing and well connected to its surrounding gardens. A touch or drama was added to the main living space by vaulting the ceiling.

It has finally begun! What was a tired old bungalow was re imagined into a completely bespoke and contemporary new home....

It has finally begun! What was a tired old bungalow was re imagined into a completely bespoke and contemporary new home. Once complete the large windows and orientation on site will allow for unspoiled views over the surrounding fields.

Construction is underway and we can not wait to see the vaulted open plan living space take shape!
