Nestled in a West Lancashire Conservation area we were delighted to catch up with the Clients for this new open plan extension.
A large kitchen and dining space links with a rear snug and opens onto the garden. A combination of a pitched and flat roof provides a volume to the space with ceilings consistent with the original property whilst not dominating the original house.
The extension utilises traditional Rosemary style roof tiles with Arris hip tiles for a seamless and sleek roofline. Whilst the materials were intended to match the main house the extension provides a modern design against a traditional backdrop.
A large South facing terrace takes advantage of the weather on the warmer days of the year.
