Another quality install, this time in Loughton.
We fit Podpoint and Zappy chargers across Essex and the Southeast!
This customer has a car that has a type 1 connection which means the customer has had to purchase a lead with a type 1 on one end and type 2 in the other.

TOP TIP; when buying leads online check the rating. Some are only rated to handle 16 amps. This will result in overheating when used on a 7.2kw (32A) charger!

These are the findings of a recent Government Audit into new EV charger installations.
Only 17.3% met all relevant safety standards. With companies all trying to be the cheapest often allocating 2 hours per install it is no suprise that the general standard of work is so poor.
We will never prioritise profit over your safety. We quote to allow enough time to ensure all aspects of your installation are compliant and safe.
