🍕 From Pizza to Precision! 🔨

New project underway! 💪

This time, Old Oak Carpentry Ltd is swapping kitchens for a pizzeria floor! We’re getting ready to give the place a fresh new look with some professional tiling.

And I have to say… the pizza here is seriously good! 🍕😋

Highly recommended — and not just because they’re my client! 😂

Great pizza, great people, and soon a great new floor!

📢 A little update for my customers and future clients

I had reserved the next few months for a large project, which included two extensions, a new kitchen, two bathrooms, a garden and a garden office.

Unfortunately, despite all the planning and arrangements, the client decided at the last minute that they no longer wanted to go ahead with the project.

A lot of work goes into preparing for a project of this size — planning, preparing quotes, arranging contractors, organising materials and reserving time in the schedule. You can’t simply turn up and expect all of that to happen overnight.

This was the first and last time I reserved such a large project without taking a deposit. Lesson learned.

Going forward, I’m happy to take on projects of any size, but I will only work on one project at a time. This allows me to give every job the attention it deserves and make sure everything is completed to the highest standard, right down to the last detail.

🔨 Services include:
• Kitchens
• Bathrooms
• Flooring
• Extensions
• Garden offices
• Gardens
• General building and renovation work

📩 Free quotations available. Feel free to get in touch to discuss your project.

Thank you to all my customers for your continued support!

Kitchen update 🔨

If you remember my post from last week, the kitchen is now pretty much finished! 👌

Just a bit of electrical work left to sort out.

It took a little longer than expected, mainly because the plumbing was an absolute mess. 😅 I also ended up having to refit some of the cabinets, which definitely wasn’t part of the original plan!

But it’s all done now, and I can crack on with the next renovation. 💪

🏠 Another project completed in Bournemouth! 🏠

I’m incredibly proud of the work we’ve done and especially grateful to all the amazing people who helped me bring this project to the finish line.

The goal was simple — deliver a beautiful result that would impress and delight the client. And I’m really happy with how it turned out! 🙌

This stunning 4-bedroom apartment will now be available as an Airbnb rental, ready to welcome guests and give them a great place to stay in Bournemouth.

A big thank you to everyone involved. It was a team effort, and I couldn’t have done it without you! 💪👏

Another project finished. Another happy client. ❤️

I’ve been asked to finish off a kitchen after a “renovation expert” had a go at it… 😳

Absolute nightmare! 😂

I’ll post an update on Friday and show you what I’ve been dealing with. You honestly won’t believe it. 🤦‍♂️

🍳 A brand-new kitchen

It’s almost ready — just a few more days to go! 🙌

A bit messy at the moment 😅 but all the wallpaper is off and the plasterer is already working.

Hopefully I’ll be able to fit the kitchen next week.
