A little personal update ❤️
As many of you know, I was recently diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS).
It all started after I developed a swollen optic nerve. Unfortunately, at the time it was put down to dry eye and I was sold some eye drops. After the drops didnt help with my vision, I eventually went to eye casualty where I received my diagnosis.
The hospital staff have been fantastic. They’ve been answering all my questions and supporting me through what has been a very unexpected and difficult time.
Treatment is due to start next month, which is another big step on this journey.
I honestly can’t thank my family and close friends enough for all the love, support and encouragement you’ve given me. It has meant more than you’ll ever know. ❤️
But one thing is for sure — we are not going to let this diagnosis hold us back! 💪
I’m continuing with WORK, my fitness training and, throughout October, I’ll be running 5K every single day to raise money and awareness for MS.
That’s 155km over the month — one day, one run and one step at a time. 🏃♂️💪
If you’d like to support me, any donation, no matter how big or small, would mean the world to me and help support people living with MS and research into the condition.
MS might be part of my story now, but it doesn’t define me.
Here’s to October. 5K a day. Let’s do this. ❤️
Thank you all for your support. 🙏
