Another project complete and another Artex ceiling plastered flat. Started this early in the morning to avoid the afternoon heat beating through the windows.

Another artex ceiling De artexed, however, in this heat it’s a challenge trying to keep up with it, but I won’t be Beaten, heatwave or not I will always win.

This was slightly different in respect that the chimney breast was staggered and they wanted it one level, built out the upper section, boarded and plastered.

I’ve not posted anything for a while so here’s some completed recently.

This room had heavily textured walls and an exposed fireplace that needed filling and plastering over. The Artex was positive for asbestos so the surface was prepared with X-Tex (Artex dissolver) which turns the Artex to putty and is easily scraped over, on completion the walls were prepped and plastered to a smooth, modern finish, and left everything ready for the customer’s next stage of the renovation.

Also A Media wall prepped and completed.
