Following on from our last post that’s had a lot of attention, we thought we’d explain exactly what was done and why.
This was a seriously tight plant room installation featuring a Vaillant heat pump, Heat Geek designed system, and a new Newark cylinder with a massive 6m² coil. Due to the restricted space, we even had to custom-build a new door and lining just to get the cylinder into position.
We’ve seen plenty of comments about the pipework runs, but what matters is system performance. Despite the long runs, the system achieves excellent flow rates throughout and operates exactly as designed. Every decision was made for performance, efficiency, serviceability, and the constraints of the property.
The finished result is a clean, professional installation that delivers outstanding performance for the customer.
Not every install is straightforward, and sometimes the best engineering solution isn’t the most obvious one from a 30-second video.
