A shower enclosure which had failed severely. The job involved removal of existing screen/enclosure tiles and and 3/8 plasterboard stuck to the walls. Reinstall moisture grade plasterboard with sufficient wallboard adhesive and apply sealant to all joints. Install new wallboard finish to both walls, supply and install a new 900mm shower screen/enclosure, as a extra preventative install new minor upstand, corner profile for extra piece of mind for the client.

A visit to this property after the client had reported water coming through the kitchen ceiling. Upon inspection it was clear the previous installer had cut the wall boards short and the silicone failed allowing water to escape the enclosure. We removed the entire silicone seal, reapplied a new one, also as a secondary precaution installed a minor upstand and siliconed this aswell. This left the installation with a second barrier to prevent water escaping the enclosure.

Just a few things in this little bathroom. New shower screen, bath panel, tile repair, remove and resilicone the bath, toilet seat replacment, shower head replacement. Also accompanied by blinds and curtain poles to windows and door around the property.
