A fantastic week of fundraising! 💜

This July, we came together to raise funds for an Pizza Night for the children and families on the Piam Brown Ward at Southampton General Hospital.

Pizza Night is about so much more than a meal. It gives families precious time together, offers a welcome distraction from the challenges they are facing, eases the pressure of preparing dinner, and reminds them that they are surrounded by kindness, compassion and support during an incredibly difficult time.

This week, Community Committee members Christine, Emily, Nicole and Jacob visited teams across the business, raising awareness and collecting donations.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our CIUS employees, we raised £296 – enough to fund one of these special evenings on the ward.

A huge thank you to everyone who donated and supported the fundraiser, and to our Community Committee for organising the collection.

Something exciting is in the making…

We’re working with the fantastic .video team on a new project.

Members of the Connect it team joined Andy and Sam, who transformed our boardroom in a filming studio on Tuesday, for a day of filming!

We had a lot of fun, were made to feel totally at ease from the kind support provided by Andy and Sam, and we can’t wait to continue working these guys the next stage of filming!

👟💙 Team Connect It Takes on Abby's Heroes' 10 Miles for 10 Years Walk! 💙👟

We're incredibly proud of Team Connect It for putting on their walking boots and taking part in the 10 Miles for 10 Years Walk, journeying from Eastleigh to Abby Gardens in Wi******er in support of our chosen Charity of the Year.

Yesterday’s event was especially meaningful as Abby's Heroes celebrates an incredible milestone – 10 years of supporting children and families affected by childhood cancer. Reaching a decade of making such a positive difference is a remarkable achievement, and we were honoured to play a small part in marking the occasion.

A huge well done to those who took part and represented Connect It so brilliantly.

They reported back that the event was a huge success, featuring a beautiful walk through scenic nature trails, plenty of conversation along the way, and a fantastic atmosphere throughout. Most importantly, they were proud to help raise both awareness and funds for such an amazing cause.

It's always inspiring to see our team come together to support the communities and charities that make a real difference.

We’re delighted to announce that our official support of Hampshire Cricket will continue this year.

This year, Connect It are the official front-of-shirt sponsor for the club’s One Day Cup and T20 games. We’re incredibly excited to see our name featured on the Hampshire Hawks’ Vitality Blast and One Day Cup kits and are proud to stand alongside the club as an official partner.

Ahead of International Women’s Day this Sunday, we’ve been celebrating the amazing women in our lives with a Connect It Cake and Post-it drop-in session today.

Teams from across the business stopped by to share words of kindness about women who inspire, support, or guide them. Each message was added to our wall of inspiration, creating a powerful display of appreciation and gratitude.

From teammates and mentors to friends and family members, today has been all about shining a spotlight on the incredible women who make a difference in our lives every day.

It’s been a brilliant way to celebrate, connect, and recognise the women who inspire us. Thank you to all those who got involved.

We were delighted to be invited to support the Premier League Inspire Challenge Event on Wednesday this week.

The Inspire Challenge is a fantastic event and a key part of the Premier League Inspires programme, which uses the power of football to help young people develop the personal skills and positive attitudes needed to succeed in life.

This year, students from schools across Southampton were challenged to design a social action project focused on improving youth mental health and wellbeing within their communities. Each team was given a £50 budget to bring their idea to life, with Pitch Day providing the opportunity to bid for an additional £100 to develop their project further.

Connect It’s Tony Peard and Anna Linsdell attended the event to support students with pitch preparation—listening to presentations, offering feedback and inspiration ahead of presenting to the judging panel.

It was an inspiring event, showcasing a wide range of creative ideas and seeing teams step outside their comfort zones to collaborate, engage, and achieve something meaningful together. Huge congratulations to all the students who took part and presented their projects.

Our thanks go to the team at the Saints Foundation, particularly Partnerships Manager David Warnes, for organising and hosting such a well-run, impactful, and truly meaningful event.

We’re delighted to share that our supported athlete, Serena Vincent, won gold this weekend at the UK Indoor Championships.

Her first-attempt throw of 17.33m cemented her status as the National Indoor Shot Put Champion! 💪

We’re immensely proud of Serena’s superb achievement.

We’re proud to share that Connect It Utility Services’ Christmas raffle raised an amazing £975, which has been donated in vouchers to The Food Centre at King's Community Church in Hedge End — a local food bank providing essential support to people in our community.

🗣️ Time To Talk Day 🗣️

Time To Talk Day is about listening, sharing, and starting open conversations about mental health – especially the things that can still feel hard to say out loud.

When you’re not quite feeling yourself or have worries on your mind, talking to someone can really help. You don’t need the perfect words, just the courage to start the conversation.

At Connect It Utility Services, we work with the Lighthouse Charity who offer 24/7 support to construction workers and their families, and have Mental Health First Aiders in our team ready to listen and support.

If you or a loved one needs to talk, help is always available.
