A water leak was caused by the absence of step flashing at the abutment where the roof tiles meet the main house structure. To fix the issue, new step flashing was installed.

A small extension roof in Hythe, seamlessly connecting the old and new structures with Marley Modern roofing tiles. The ridges and verge are mortar-bedded, ensuring a secure finish. A Velux window has been installed in the new porch area, allowing natural light to brighten the space. White soffits, fascia, and gutters have been fitted all around for a clean, polished look.

The structural frame was expertly constructed by Kitch Building

Flat roof completed in hollybank for Jerry Still Installations has been finished, including all necessary installations.

Additionally, the orange room extension has been finished with 18mm OSB Sterling board and a durable three-layer torch-on felt system. A roof lantern has been installed at the center to enhance natural lighting.

A customer recently experienced water ingress into their property due to missing lead flashing at the roof-to-wall connection and a lack of a lead saddle at the base of the valley. Additionally, his soffit and fascia were being damaged because no eaves tray was installed, and the roofing felt had deteriorated over time.

These components are essential for protecting your home from water damage, as they provide a barrier to prevent moisture from seeping into vulnerable areas of the roof. Remedial Works on Property in Droxford, Southampton.

Our team recently carried out essential remedial work, following the discovery of improperly installed lead flashing on the abutment where the roof meets the wall. This issue caused significant water ingress, which in turn led to the complete deterioration of the front porch due to extensive rot.

During the course of the repairs, we also identified that the roof’s eaves did not conform to standard building regulations. My team acted swiftly to rectify these issues, ensuring that the property was brought back up to current building standards, resolving both the flashing and eaves concerns to prevent further damage.
