🏗️ Another productive stage completed on this project!

After leaving the new fibre screed to harden over the Bank Holiday weekend, Cody and Shay have been back on site pushing things forward.

The plasterboard and adhesive have been brought in and distributed ready for the next stage, and the structural RSJs have now been fully encased in fire-rated plasterboard ready for finishing.

The difference in this space is really starting to show now. With the structural work completed, the new floor down and the site cleared and tidied, everything is ready for Liam the plasterer to come in and start transforming it into a finished space.

Great progress from the team and another clean, organised site ready for the next trade. 👌🔨

Another big day of progress on our current project 🏗️

The floor build-up is now complete across the existing and newly formed areas, with the DPM installed, insulation laid and everything brought up to the correct finished level.

Today we had the new floor screeded throughout, tying the whole space together and really starting to show the size of the new open-plan area.

A huge amount has changed in just a few days — structural steelwork in, temporary supports removed, floor build-up completed and now a fresh screed ready for the next stages. 👌

What a difference just two days can make! 🔨🏠

Loads of progress on this project over the last couple of days.

The Acrow props have now all been removed, with the new structural steelwork fully supporting the first floor and opening up what was previously a very divided space into a large, bright and usable area.

We’ve also:

🔨 Completed the structural steelwork
🏠 Removed the temporary supports
🔥 Installed insulation across the new floor area
📏 Built up the existing floor to achieve one consistent level
🪟 Started installing the new windows and doors
🚪 Opened up the rear of the property to bring much more light into the space

Everything is now coming together ready for the new screed to be laid on Thursday.

It’s great to see the rooms starting to feel like one proper living space rather than a building site.

So much progress in just two days! 💪

🔨 NEW PROJECT UNDERWAY

We’ve made a start on another project, carrying out the initial works on behalf of

The first stage has been to secure the property and begin demolition and site clearance, making the site safe and accessible for upcoming site visits and inspections.

Plenty to get through on this one, but a productive start getting everything cleared, secured and ready for the next stage. 👷‍♂️🏠

💪 SWIMMING POOL BASE POURED! 🏊‍♂️🏗️

Another big milestone reached on this project.

After some serious excavation and preparation, we’ve now got the reinforced concrete swimming pool base poured and in place.

✅ Ground prepared
✅ DPM installed
✅ Reinforcement mesh & spacers installed
✅ Reinforced pool walls prepared
✅ Concrete pumped directly into position
✅ Base poured and finished

A huge thanks to 2 Brothers Concrete & Pumping for another cracking service — making a difficult-access pour look easy! 👌

Now that the concrete is down, we can start moving onto the next stage and really begin to see this swimming pool take shape.

A lot of progress over the last few days! 💪

We’ve now excavated and removed around 160 tonnes of soil, reducing the overall site levels before moving on to excavate for the new swimming pool.

A big thanks to Leeroy for keeping everything running smoothly with the grab, and as always CWM Aggregates for turning up on time and keeping the project moving.

From this tired bungalow to a stunning family home. 🏡✨

This project in Olivers Battery, Wi******er is one we’re incredibly proud of.

The original property was a dated bungalow with huge potential. We completely removed the existing roof, constructed an entirely new first floor, creating three spacious bedrooms and a family bathroom, transforming it into a modern two-storey home.

A few years later, the client invited us back to complete the next phase, which included:
✔️ A side extension
✔️ A full exterior makeover
✔️ A brand-new driveway with plenty of parking

The result is a beautiful, modern family home that looks completely unrecognisable from where it started.
