⭐🌟 ANOTHER 5-STAR GOOGLE REVIEW! 🌟⭐

A huge thank you to Alfredo Galang for taking the time to share his experience with Restoration Glazing! 😊

It's always lovely to hear such positive feedback from our customers, especially when they take the time to mention our team, our communication and the service they received.

💬 HERE'S ALFREDO'S FULL GOOGLE REVIEW:

“Our windows needs a replacement due to its age, damage seals and locking mechanism. Restoration windows provide a professional service with a reasonable price with no hidden charges. They even repair my other window without any cost. Their installer are very kind, respectful and professional. They communicate well with the client. Sending emails and text messages to ensure you are aware of the plan ahead. And lastly, If there any short coming from their end, they will take the responsibility and act accordingly. Highly recommended.”

🪟 WINDOW NOT CLOSING PROPERLY? IT COULD BE THE HINGES! 🔧

Is your window catching when you open or close it? Does it sit unevenly in the frame or leave a gap around the seal when shut?

Worn or failed window hinges could be the problem — and sometimes, replacing the hinges is all that's needed! 👌

🔧 Here's a recent window hinge repair we've carried out.

The original hinges had failed, leaving a noticeable gap around the seal when the window was closed. We replaced the hinges, bringing the window back into the correct position.

📸 Before: A visible gap around the seal.
🎥 After: Watch the video to see the window opening and closing properly, with the gap gone when shut!

It's a great example of how the right repair can make a real difference without needing to replace the whole window. 😊

🔧 Repairs AND new installations — we do both!

At Restoration Glazing, we help with all sorts of window and door problems, including:

🪟 Window hinge replacement
🔩 Handles, locks and mechanisms
💧 Misted, cloudy, cracked and damaged double glazing
🚪 Window and door repairs and adjustments

We install new uPVC and composite windows and doors, including French doors and patio doors. If a repair isn't the right option, we can discuss replacement options too.

🪟 Failed window hinges causing a gap?

Here’s a recent window hinge replacement we carried out.

The original hinges had failed, leaving a noticeable gap around the seal when the window was closed. We replaced the hinges and adjusted the window, bringing it back into the correct position.

📸 Before: gap around the seal
🎥 After: the new hinges fitted and the window closing properly with no gap.

It’s a great example of why a window problem doesn’t always mean the whole window needs replacing — where possible, we repair rather than replace.

Restoration Glazing carries out window and door repairs, glass replacements and new window and door installations.

Meet Chris. He’s our office manager, and there’s a good chance when you call the office, he’s the one you’ll get 👋

Chris has been in the industry for around 30 years and he knows his stuff. He’s gone from doing the jobs himself to managing the office, and that experience shows every time someone’s on the phone with a window question.

He’s been with us about six months now, and it’s great to have him on the team. Already feels like he’s always been part of it.

We’re locally based in Southampton and cover Southampton, Eastleigh, Wi******er, Salisbury, Alton, Basingstoke, Portsmouth, The New Forest and surrounding areas.

With 350+ Google reviews, we’re always grateful when customers choose us and take the time to share their experience.

If you’ve got a window or door that needs some attention, give us a call or have a look at our website. We’ll look after you.

If your windows have gone misty and someone’s already quoted you for a full replacement, read this first 👇

More often than not, you don’t need the whole window out. It’s usually just the sealed unit that’s failed, and we can swap the glass and leave the frame where it is.

We only replace when it’s truly needed. If it can be repaired, that’s what we’ll do, and that’s saved our customers a serious amount of money over the years.

If your windows are misting up, or something else isn’t right, give us a call or have a look at our website. We’ll look after you.
