Bo’ness – Front & Back Door Colour Match

One of our regular customers got in touch after having new windows installed. Their front and back doors were still in great condition—the colour just didn’t match anymore.

Instead of replacing perfectly good doors, we colour-matched them to tie in with the new windows—and the result speaks for itself.

Both doors were professionally prepared and spray-finished using Selemix in a 10% sheen, giving them that smooth, factory-quality finish.

Bo’ness – Exterior Transformation

This was a great project where the customer had used AI to visualise how their home could look—and we brought that vision to life. The end result looks unreal.

The surrounding wall was finished with two coats of Dulux Weathershield in “Jasmine White,” giving it a clean, fresh look.

The coping stones and pathway blocks were coated with two coats of Dulux Weathershield Masonry in RAL 7016, adding contrast and a modern edge.

Garage doors were carefully masked, fully prepared, and spray-finished using Selemix in RAL 7016 for a smooth, factory-quality finish.

The transformation has given the property a sharp, modern look—all without a huge cost.

A big credit to the team for delivering this project on time and to the highest standard.

Great King Street, Edinburgh – Full Flat Refresh

What started as a straightforward repair and refresh of ceilings and walls quickly turned into a much more involved project.

As with all our jobs, we fully sand every surface using our Mirka dustless sanding system. This process revealed nearly five times the amount of preparation work than expected, with cracks and uneven surfaces throughout 🫣

Nevertheless, we took it in our stride and worked to meet a tight deadline for our client, who is based in London.

All ceilings were finished with two coats of Johnstone’s Covaplus Matt, colour matched to Farrow & Ball “Pointing.”

All walls were also double coated in Johnstone’s Covaplus Matt, colour matched to Farrow & Ball (apologies—we’ll need to double-check the exact shade!).

Although we completed the project a day later than planned, we honoured our agreed price, only adding the cost of additional materials where required.

The result? A very happy client—and that final review is always the icing on the cake 🎂

A big well done to the team for delivering another high-quality finish on a challenging property.

Edinburgh – Hallway, Bedroom & Bathroom Ceiling Refresh ✨

This Edinburgh flat was in need of a tidy-up, with cracks throughout and surfaces looking a little tired. Our team stepped in to bring everything back to life with a full refresh.

All walls were thoroughly sanded, then taped and filled to achieve a smooth, flawless finish.
Ceilings were painted in Dulux Ultra Matt White for a clean, bright look.
Walls were finished in Armstead Vinyl Matt Emulsion, giving a fresh and modern feel.
All woodwork received two coats of Johnstone’s Aqua Satin for a durable, high-quality finish.

Completed over just 4 days, the results truly speak for themselves. The fantastic review left by the client is exactly what we aim for on every project.

Uphall – Bedroom, Living Room & Toilet Transformation

Check this project out—easily one of our favourites of the year.

We were tasked with delivering the highest possible finish in this new-build property, and that meant going the extra mile from the very start.

We completely sanded back the original paintwork on all ceilings and walls using 80 grit to properly flatten the surfaces. From there, we filled and skimmed multiple times to remove any imperfections.

Once the prep work was complete, all surfaces were sanded again—progressing from 120 grit down to 240 grit—to achieve the smoothest possible finish.

The ceilings and two walls were finished in Dulux Velvet Matt, mixed in custom colours chosen by the client.

The toilet and feature walls were wallpapered using high-quality materials, ensuring all cuts and pattern matches were perfectly aligned.

All woodwork was finished with three coats of Johnstone’s Aqua Satin, with sanding and cleaning carried out between each coat for a flawless result.

The wallpaper choices might not be to everyone’s taste, but the quality of the finish speaks for itself—this is definitely up there with some of our best work.

Charlestown Exterior Transformation 🌊

Scott and Robert were back on-site this week in Charlestown, working on this beautiful seafront home that was in need of a refresh. The exterior had become quite tired, but the results speak for themselves!

The lower walls were finished using Johnstone’s Stormshield Masonry, colour matched to Chalk Hill by Farrow & Ball.
The cladding, fascia, and soffits were completed in Johnstone’s Exterior Satin, matched to Elephant’s Breath by Farrow & Ball.

The client originally found inspiration through AI, and we were proud to bring that vision to life — they couldn’t be happier with the outcome!

We were asked by our friends at Life’s A Beach to get their brand-new premises fully painted and ready before opening—on a tight schedule, with the Bo’ness Fair just around the corner! A few late nights later, we got the job done right.

All ceilings, walls, and woodwork were finished in Dulux Summer Linen, giving the space a clean, fresh look throughout.

After 6 tubes of caulk, countless nail holes, and plenty of sanding across all those joints, the end result really speaks for itself 👌

Our latest project involved stepping in to resolve a job that had been ongoing for over 3 years. While the property wasn’t in poor condition, it required a skilled finish and attention to detail to bring it up to a high standard.

We carried out a full power sand throughout the house using dust extraction systems, followed by careful filling and skimming where needed. All walls and ceilings were finished in Dulux Ultra Matt White, delivering a clean and modern look.

Every area was thoroughly caulked and prepped, and all woodwork was completed using Johnstone’s Aqua Satin for a durable, high-quality finish.

We were back with a returning customer to repair and refresh their exterior woodwork – and what a transformation!

All woodwork was:
• Power sanded
• Caulked and filled using Toupret wood filler
• Finished with 2 coats of Dulux Weathershield Quick Dry Opaque

Colour: RAL 7016 🎨

As you can see from the before & after, it’s a massive difference. The property is now fully protected and ready to take on the harsh winters (and the occasional Scottish sunshine ☀️).

Bo’ness – Living Room / Lower Hallway

Our new customer asked us to decorate one of the coolest rooms we’ve worked on lately — featuring a TV as big as the wall and stunning acoustic panelling on the ceiling 🤩

All surfaces were power sanded,
Wallrock lining paper was applied throughout, with all joints filled and sanded smooth, followed by two coats of Dulux Ultra Matt emulsion.

The woodwork was finished with three coats of Johnstone’s Aqua Satin for a clean, durable look.

To top it all off, we installed this amazing wall mural — a pleasure to hang and the final result looks absolutely flawless.
