Tigridia pavonia is grown from a small bulb and is hardy and the delight is that it only lasts a day….
So everyday is a surprise!

Rush hour in East Lambrook ….

Quick redesign of an area of the garden that looked rather tired and was at a crossroads of paths so should look rather more splendid than it did! It’s still hot but I have to water anyway so why not water lovely plants rather than tired weedy leggy old plants!
And we had a lovely note from a visitor to share with you,
“ We’ve just returned home from visiting the garden. It is my birthday and I thought it would be a lovely place to go.
Thank you for such a great visit. The gardens are simply wonderful. I volunteered here just after my mum died several years ago and loved it then but now - wow! What a lot of work has taken place. Congratulations on bringing the gardens back to life without losing any of their charm”
