Starksy's Gardening Service I'm fairly booked up however I can usually fit in one offs. I have had my gardening business since 2015 and love what i do.

I am a local gardener covering Newton Stewart and the machers.I am fully insured.I cover the following-
Grass Cutting, Hedges, Pruning, Powerwashing, fencing, General Weeding, light landscaping. Having spent many years as a child working along side my mother in Gardens it must have rubbed off on me after-all. Being ouside amongst all that colour, wildlife and crisp scottish air.i have a small trai

ler for garden waste and use all my own equipment. I also try to compost /recycle my garden waste as much as possible and recently I got my first small batch of organic compost..yah!

A wee fence repair for this Newcastle garden. The fence was leaning quite badly in the middle and the vertical lats were forcing the fence over at the bottom. On the other side of the fence are trellises and a mix of evergreen climbers so a bit of care was needed to Stabilise the fence without cutting back any plants.. Ground was solid clay.. Managed to get some help with this one.

Final cut for this Monreith garden as the sale of the house is imminent. I shall no longer be covering the Port William/Monreith area as this was my only gardening job in that particular area.
I will be taking on more grass cuts in Newton Stewart/ to Wigtown so if you're looking for a regular grass cut please get in touch.

I will be taking the earlier part of this week off to continue with my shed build which I started planning end of last year. I've been watching 'youtube videos' for the past few months, what could go wrong..... 😆 Yep that's right I'm a bit of an amateur..!!!!
I would like to thank my mate Tony for all his knowledge and hands on craftsmanship at the weekend..cheers buddy! And also Clive Hurley for his numerous text messages of which I have gone back and forth throughout the build so far....

Cut back this hedge growth fairly hard last year as was encroaching on the lawn. Weeded and levelled the border and seed...

Cut back this hedge growth fairly hard last year as was encroaching on the lawn. Weeded and levelled the border and seeded the area today and covered it in fleece to stop the birds from feasting on the seed. Sprinkler system set up for the incoming warmer days..
