Tricky removal recently - customer in Earlswood called us to see what we could do with this poplar which was damaging the pillar and pushing it out of line. We dismantled the pillar, removed tree, ground stump and re assembled pillar all in house meaning we was able to offer a bespoke package for customer to reduce the headache of finding bricklayers etc. With only 2 bricks broken overall it went rather smoothly.

Team working hard this week in the heat 🥵 removal of this pine and Ash removal with no access meant over the roof we went…. Plenty of fluids and rest breaks kept us effective as well as cheeky beer by one our great customers at the end of the day 🤫

Let there be light ☀️☀️ this week we have been working in a mini jungle in Shirley. Not touched for 65 years, this garden was in need of some work. Removals included a tricky dead oak intwined with a conifer along with copious amounts of leylandii removals. Soaring approximately 60ft in a small domestic garden these conifers was utter carnage, and with drop zones becoming bombarded with brash within minutes, this meant for a hard couples of days for the ground crew in the hot/muggy heat. All woodchip was donated to Dickensheath & Shakespeare drive allotments

This week we have Logan from Woodrush doing a weeks work experience. It is evident he can’t wait to start his career in Arb and plans to go to college and study Arboriculture. He already has good broad knowledge of the industry for his age and attends the APF shows with his Dad. So far this week he has really got stuck in - from knot tying to clean up. He’s done really well.

Team where in Solihull town centre today working on behalf of Solihull Council & Heartwood ins. We were instructed to prune back this London plane tree away from the former Missoula Luna building, allowing for scaffolding to be erected and work can begin.
