‘This was a really great and enjoyable scheme, a tight plot in a very traditional and repetitive suburban environment, where copy and paste architecture is sadly running rife. We managed to depart from the norm, and create something thoughtful and worthwhile. The scheme epitomised the client, so we crafted the design to his character, a jeweller with an eye for precise detail.

Construction took around 18 months, and like all construction projects faced its daily challenges. When I look back, it’s not the building I am most proud of, it is the people who helped create it, who developed as individuals, and the relationships which were forged in fire along the way.’
