First day one big 200m2 flat roof in coventry city centre

1. *Prep*: Scrap chippings off + remove old skylights
- Good call getting rid of those first. Old skylights are usually the main leak points.
2. *Vapour barrier*: Torch down vapour barrier
- Seals the deck and stops condensation getting into the insulation.
3. *Insulation*: Stick down 220mm insulation
- That’s chunky. 220mm will get you well above current Building Regs U-values for flat roofs. Should make a big difference to heat loss.
4. *Finish*: Siltec single ply PVC membrane with 10 year insurance backed guarantee
- Clean system. Siltec is solid — fully adhered single ply means fewer joints and the insurance backing is great for the client.
