What customer dont see.
Getting up early and travelling to jobs 🚐
Quoting and pricing work
Ordering and collecting materials
Loading/unloading the van
Chasing suppliers
Booking jobs and rearranging schedules
Dealing with unexpected problems on jobs
Writing invoices and paperwork
Gas Safe/admin responsibilities
Tool and van costs
Driving between jobs
Answering calls and messages all day
Cancelling personal plans when a job overruns
Learning new regulations/products
The years of experience that make a difficult job look easy.

Im sure some customers think we sit around counting our money but don't actually see the investments and costs to running a business and the mental stresses of it too.
If you would like to see it I would happily bring you out for a day.
