ALS Chimneys

🔥 We’ve seen quite a few stories online recently about woodburning and multi fuel stoves and possible “£300 fines”…

With rising energy costs continuing to put pressure on households, it’s understandable that these stories are causing some concern.

For many households, particularly in rural areas and older properties, a stove isn’t simply an additional source of heat. It can be an important part of heating the home, while also providing the reassurance of not being completely reliant on one source of energy.

So, we’ve put together the key facts behind these stories above 👆🔥

🔥 It’s been a while! 🔥

We’ve been a bit quiet on the socials lately, but we’ve certainly not been quiet on the tools! 😁

Here’s a few jobs we’ve completed over the summer — from chimney repairs and maintenance to stove installations, flue systems and everything in between.

A massive thank you to all our customers for keeping us busy and for the recommendations. We really do appreciate it! 👍

Now we’re heading into the colder months, things are getting even busier, so we’ll try and get a few more of our jobs posted on here. 🔥

Sledmere job this week 🏡
Awkward roof, leaking flashing, broken slates. Customer was quoted ££££ for full scaffolding — the only way other firms could access it.
We got it done in a day with our tracked spider lift.
✅ Outriggers down on the lawn — zero damage
✅ 15m+ safe working height for the chimney + flashing
✅ Flashing repaired + slates changed
✅ Customer saved thousands vs scaffolding
If you’ve been told “you’ll need scaffolding” for roof work, get a second opinion.
