The HealthInvestor Seniors Housing Awards celebrate innovation and excellence in the business of seniors housing and we have been fortunate enough for Melissa Magee to be a judge covering a variety of categories. The awards are tonight so we look forward to catching up with all the well-deserved finalists and celebrating the winners.

Our Lego creation at the Birmingham Care Show is focused on repurposing a football stadium with intergenerational connection and encouraging community engagement.

The burning question is what building would you like to repurpose (partially or fully) for use as a care home?

Suggestions from day 1 stand visitors include:

The Judging panel for the Knight Frank Care Home Awards were together again at the Global Healthcare Property Lunch, which celebrated the very best in innovation, environment, and exceptional care in care homes across the country. Well done to all the finalists and winners, all very well deserved.

The leaves are changing colour, the Met Office app checked more than healthy and debates over whether it’s too soon for socks or not must only mean one thing.......THE Care Show IN BIRMINGHAM IS AROUND THE CORNER! Vicky Kolliopoulou and Conrad Quast give us an overview of all of Carless + Adams activities at the show (hint: its a lot).

Our iconic Managing Director and wondrous architect Melissa Magee was a finalist at Property Week’s Inspiring Women awards last night. Melissa and George Morris spent an uplifting evening with a huge array of fabulous people. Heart warming to see the drive and passion in the room. 💪💗🏗️🏡

A valuable opportunity to connect with industry leaders, exchange insights, and discuss the challenges and opportunities shaping the future of these vital sectors.

It's been a busy site inspection type of week for the team. The scaffolding is down, showing off the wonderful brickwork, render and cladding at the Chelmsford scheme. Just a few months away from completion, with the care floors receiving the final coat of paint, and the basement wellness spa soon to have its pool tiled.

Plenty of progress to see at Sittingbourne during our recent site inspection. Roof tiling has started, and together with the fresh render, brings colour and character to the building's facade. Inside, painting of the resident suites has commenced on the lower ground floor and second fixes are underway, bringing us closer towards completion.
