That's been a very busy year again, last couple of heat pump installs commissioned and tidied up today and registered on the MCS database tonight.

Had a lot of call outs since the weekend of what has ended up being frozen oil pipes. If you have exposed oil pipe, best to leave the programmer on overnight, either HW or heating, until the temperature rises a bit!🥶🥶🥶

Last weeks job, switching out an electric boiler (supplying Underfloor heating), and Telford hot water cylinder, put in when the house was originally built in 2007.

Vastly more efficient Mitsubishi 8.5KW air source heat pump and 250L hot water cylinder put in in its place.

Using heat loss calculations, its possible to get a fairly accurate idea of potential savings, with this homeowner estimated to save upwards of £12,000 over the next 7 years on electricity alone! When you also factor in the Domestic RHI payments, it becomes an absolute no-brainer for anybody still running an electric boiler.
