The Holiday Home is a very short walking distance of shops, pubs, restaurants and takeaways. Within easy reach are the Georgian market towns of Louth and Horncastle with its antiques, together with the lovely city of Lincoln with its magnificent cathedral (used in the making of the film based on author Dan Brown’s ‘Da Vinci Code’). Lincoln also has a Roman fort and modern, award-winning museum, The Collection, which brings together an archaeology museum and the region’s premier art gallery, the Usher Gallery. The World War II bomber trail with plenty of air museums can also be followed.
