SPOTTED: King’s Cross, London 📍

Our drainage team recently carried out a detailed CCTV survey in King’s Cross, using our specialist crawler camera unit to inspect the drainage system.

Crawler technology allows us to survey larger and more complex pipework, providing high-quality footage and accurate condition reporting to identify defects, damage and potential issues within the system.

Licensed Asbestos Removal Works 🚧

Our asbestos team recently carried out the safe removal of Asbestos Insulating Board (AIB) panels from skylights as part of an ongoing refurbishment project.

A fully controlled enclosure was established, including airlocks, baglocks and negative pressure, allowing the AIB panels to be removed safely under controlled conditions.

Another project delivered safely and professionally by KD Drainage & Asbestos!

Pre-start meeting at KCL ahead of a major stack descaling project! 👷‍♂️

Our team was on site at King’s College London carrying out the pre-start meeting and final preparations ahead of a large-scale stack descaling programme.

Good planning is key on projects like this, ensuring the works are delivered safely, efficiently and with minimal disruption across a busy university estate.

A brilliant day at the Prime Consultancy Group Charity Golf Day, supporting the fantastic Hayley’s Heroes 🏌️‍♀️

We were more than happy to get involved and support such a worthwhile cause.

Another successful job completed for one of our long-standing commercial clients 👊🏼

Our engineers attended site to carry out stack descaling works across the 5th floor. After establishing a safe working area, an initial CCTV inspection identified a build-up within the stack pipework requiring descaling.

Using our Picote specialist milling equipment, the stack was thoroughly descaled with a continuous flow of water maintained throughout the process to prevent debris causing downstream blockages.

Once complete, a final CCTV survey confirmed the stack was clean, clear and free-flowing.
Another example of the ongoing planned and reactive drainage support we provide to our commercial clients.

Safe asbestos removal, completed professionally 🚧

Our licensed asbestos team recently attended site to safely remove Asbestos Insulating Board (AIB) soffits from the rear of a residential property.

The work was carried out within a fully enclosed, controlled environment using strict HSE procedures to ensure the safety of both our team and the surrounding area.

Once the AIB soffits had been carefully removed, all asbestos waste was securely packaged and transported to a licensed disposal facility.

Whether it's planned refurbishment work or emergency asbestos removal, our experienced team delivers safe, compliant solutions from start to finish.
