Absolutely fake… a complete imitation. 😂

When I say fake, I mean it’s not the missing bit simply glued back on, or created by some dodgy AI wizardry. 🤣

The missing section of the tile has been completely rebuilt, using colour-matched materials, then decorated and blended back into the original.

Basically… fake, but annoyingly good at pretending to be real. 😂

NOT REPAIR RELATED, BUT THIS IS A FAMILY BUSINESS, SO I’M USING MY PLATFORM FOR SOMETHING THAT ACTUALLY MATTERS.

That emergency alert system that can send a message to millions of people’s phones telling them not to have a BBQ…

Why wasn’t that same system used to alert people about a missing child?

I genuinely cannot understand it.

If the system is capable of reaching huge numbers of people instantly, surely a missing child should be exactly the kind of situation it exists for.

This isn’t about politics. It isn’t about blaming anyone. It’s about asking a very simple question:

WHY WASN’T EVERY AVAILABLE TOOL USED TO HELP FIND A MISSING CHILD?

To those who said about the parents not keeping an eye on the child this is how quickly a child can go missing, Hunter was awful for it

EVERYTHING’S GOING UP… SO WE’RE GOING DOWN. 📣

We’ve been thinking about all those smaller repair jobs people put off because they’re not quite worth booking in.

So we’ve added a 0–1 hour, planned repair option across Kent, Essex & Sussex. *As a trial*

It’s for One small repair, One address, up to an hour on site, with standard materials included.

It won’t be an emergency or same-day service. We’ll fit it around our existing diary. Card or bank transfer on completion.

Basically, if you messaged us in the last 12 months about something small and decided to leave it for now…

It might be worth giving us another shout.

I LOVE RUNNING A SMALL BUSINESS.

But let’s be honest… it’s not always as glamorous as it looks on the gram. 😂

One minute the diary is rammed and you’re thinking:

“WE’RE SMASHING THIS.” 🍾

The next, you’ve got an invoice that’s 46 days overdue, you get a call telling you one of the vans that needs an engine, your phone won’t stop ringing and you’re doing quotes at 10pm while eating your dinner.

And the best bit?

There’s nobody above you.

Van broken? You.
Customer problem? You.
Staff problem? You.
Tax bill? Yep… you again. 😂

But honestly, I wouldn’t change it.

Damage Assist started as an idea during a very strange time in the world.

Now we’ve got a team, vans on the road, customers sending us work and thousands of people following what we do.

And that makes me pretty bloody proud.

🚨 2,053 DAYS AGO WE REPAIRED THIS… AND IT’S STILL THERE. 😂

Yes, 5 years! 7 Months!

This returning customer had us back today and they are still absolutely buzzing about the repair we did back in January 2021, we repaired a big chip in her kitchen worktop, right next to the sink.

Busy kitchen, Daily use, Water and Cleaning chemicals. Basically, the repair has been through some 💩. 😂

Fast forward to 4th September 2026…

Still there. Still looking good. Still doing its job.

Obviously, no repair is indestructible. High-use areas can get damaged, scratched, stained or worn over time.

But 5 years later and the customer is still happy?

I think we’ll take that. 😂🔥
