We take calls from this client literally day in, day out.

Day or night.

(Iv literally just returned from an emergency call this morning 💁‍♂️)

Absolutely blown away to have such a good testimonial.

Good clients are rare, that’s why we go the extra mile to keep them.

All going on in Abbey Foregate today

⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️

⚡🌿 POWERING UP THE ABBEY FOREGATE POCKET PARK! 🌿⚡

Another big step forward today - and another brilliant example of the community pulling together to make this project happen. ❤️

A huge THANK YOU to Buck Taylor and his electrician team at Potters Electrical, who are giving up part of their weekend to get stuck into the electrical installation at the new Abbey Foregate Pocket Park.

Today’s work includes installing the new electrical junction box that will power the site, together with the first fix for:

🚲 The Brompton Bike Hire unit
✨ Festoon lighting
📹 CCTV
📶 Free public Wi-Fi

It might not be the most glamorous part of the transformation, but it’s absolutely essential - and once again we’re incredibly grateful to local people and businesses who are stepping forward and helping bring the park to life.

Every week now, another piece of the jigsaw falls into place… and you can really start to see how this previously forgotten corner of Abbey Foregate is being transformed. 🌳🌸

❤️ Community project. For the community. Created by the community. ❤️

👏 Thanks again to Buck and the team for giving up their weekend to help us move another step closer to opening!

A very different morning of work last week 🛥 ; Many Thanks to Sabrina Boat and our Skipper Doug for your assistance in working on The River Severn with Shrewsbury Town Council and their tree team to access a water inlet pipe for The Di**le pool top up chamber which has been struggling to work properly of late. Works included removal of some stray roots and branches on the outer edge of the riverbank and unblocking the inlet, which has successfuly restored the flow . A new pump will soon be fitted, and fingers crossed the Di**le pool will stay topped up for many years to come. We also took the opportunity to assess different areas of the riverbank to plan future works.

A good day completed carrying out Floodlight repairs at SSV. Multiple lights repaired using the specialist equipment to lower the 16 metre columns down to the ground. Both the competition and astroturf pitches are now back to full light levels. 💡💡.

Our supplier has shared a scheme we are very proud to have been involved with, especially the design of the supports. Great to work with Paul Brown and metals 4 U to provide the solution for @ Shrewsbury BID and the High Street Summer display.

Sectional frames for Shrewsbury High Street, featuring rotating fabric flags to create a striking 3D summer display.

Some early morning works helping Shrewsbury Town Council with some awkwardly positioned Hanging Baskets to get them in place for the Summer ahead, ably assisted by Paul from A B Metals. 👍👍
We aso managed to stop by for a close up look at the Knife Angel. This truly is a mind-blowing statement. If you haven't been to see it up close, you really must try. (Even though Clive doesn't look so impressed with his new neighbour! 😅).

👍👍

Next time you’re in town, don’t forget to look up 👀

This year’s Shrewsbury's Summer High Street Installation display has had a stunning artistic transformation, with local artist Clare Scarlett creating a hand-sewn, multi-material installation inspired by the Shrewsbury Arts Trail 2026 theme ‘Impressions’.

Designed to move with the wind and catch the changing light throughout the day, the flags create shifting reflections and colour across the town centre ☀️

The new installation was brought to life with bespoke engineering support from Potters Electrical and backing from the Shrewsbury Big Town Plan Partnership.

Now on display throughout the summer.

Summer Season '26 is upon us, and Thankfully the weather is currently in full agreement 🌞🌞.
We've been busy working with local Artists Clare & Rob Scarlett , and our local fabrication wizard Paul at AB Metals to fabricate and install a new set of Summer Displays along Shrewsbury High St on behalf of Original Shrewsbury / Shrewsbury BID .
Thank you to Metals4U for supplying the suitable materials to allow us to make lightweight and user friendly frames that can be reused year after year, and also reduce the wind resistance upon the fixing points . Let's all hope the sun shines for a long time, and enjoy your Shrewsbury Summer!

Two of the hottest days in The Shire for a long time. And its been about looking after our longest term client, Shrewsbury Town Council .
A heat related issue with circulation equipment on Sunday, and a completely separate, but equally important issue today with Chemical dosing and water quality. Both dealt with effectively ; restoring and maintaining the Quarry Splash Park for literally hundreds of happy, splashy visitors. 🌞🌞🏊‍♂️.
Stay safe out there folks! .
