𝗔 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗿.

Following on from our reel last week showcasing this incredible existing property, we are sharing two design options we have developed for its redesigned rear elevation.

Both proposals explore how the space could be transformed to bring in more natural light, improve functionality and enhance the way the family uses their home. The designs also explore the addition of a balcony, creating the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful views across the garden. External sun louvres have been incorporated to help manage sunlight and temperature, balancing comfort with clever design.

𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸

This traditional rural property has been added to and altered over the years, and in the process, some of its original character has been lost.

The brief was to give the house a new lease of life, bringing back some of what made it so special, while creating a generous new extension that feels right for this family.

It’s about keeping the best of what’s already there, making some bold changes where needed, and creating a home that feels considered, comfortable and full of character.
