Here's a recent job which entailed the removal of a kitchen Aga, and re-designing to create a homely fireplace with a wow factor using tiles for the back, steel closure plate to seal chimney off, a large oak beam, one piece slate hearth and spot lights to finish. The stove was a Clearview vision 500, Chimney was swept by Jamie at Quality Chimney Sweep.

A open fire opened out to fit a metal fire box. A one piece Brazilian slate hearth. Finished off with the original marbel surround.

Fire box's are a great way to get that extra bit of heat into the room.
