🎉 Earlier this week we said a huge farewell and congratulations to Alan as he heads into a well-earned retirement!

Alan has been a cornerstone of the Cool Services family here in Shrewsbury for more than 15 years, and what a journey it's been. He joined us as an engineer and quickly made his mark — skilled, reliable, and always someone the team could count on.

In more recent years, Alan moved into a key role in our stores . Day in, day out, he kept our engineers equipped and ready for air conditioning and refrigeration projects of every kind, making sure the whole operation ran smoothly behind the scenes. It's the kind of work that might not always be in the spotlight, but anyone who's worked with Alan knows just how much he made possible.

And as if that wasn't enough, Alan was the driving force behind establishing the Cool Services Training Hub - a lasting legacy that will continue to benefit our team long into the future.

Alan, it has been an absolute pleasure. You leave big shoes to fill and an even bigger mark on this company. Enjoy every moment of your retirement - you've more than earned it! 🥂

💙 A Year of Giving, Team Spirit & a Lot of Fun 💙
Giving back is something we care deeply about, and throughout the year our company supports a range of great causes. Alongside this, our team also chooses their own charity to support and organise fundraising events that bring everyone together, add a bit of fun, and build a donation fund to give at Christmas.
This year, the team proudly chose Kidney Rearch UK, a charity doing incredible work supporting people living with kidney disease and their families.
Our most recent fundraiser was a fun day packed with activities, laughter and of course Christmas jumpers - a perfect example of how coming together can make a real difference while enjoying ourselves along the way.
A huge thank you to everyone who took part, helped organise events, and donated so generously throughout the year. We’re looking forward to presenting our Christmas donation to Kidney Care UK and continuing to support causes that matter. 💙👏
