Boxing in pipes!!! The pipes got pulled up on the FRA, so had to use fire line plasterboard and use intumescent sealant. I suggested clocking it in MDF, the cornice wasn't damaged, as it was all scribed in🙄🙄 I have remediated all of the flat doors here too, 2 more boxings to do☺️

Fire door remediation works
3 new grade 13 hinges with intumescent pads.
New egress lock wrapped in intumescent paper,
New security fire rated letterplate,
Concealed drop down seal,
New overhead closer,
New sandblasted fire rate laminated glass, with new fire beads and glazing tape.
15 x 4mm intumescent coldseals.
Repairs to door and frame.

Utterly crazy what flat doors have to have fitted, the prices of the components have quadrupled in the last 3 yrs😡 so people are making a fortune for supply and demand, ive been told that in 2 to 3 yrs time BS 476 will be changing, so prices will go up even more after the new testing.
