A fantastic day at the UK Lawn Care Association Summer Festival. Thoroughly enjoyed the Tillers Turf tour to see where Premier League football clubs get their turf from and to gain a real insight into the work that goes into producing it. It was fascinating to see the different gambles and risks they take to produce the highest quality grass.

It was also great to network with others in the industry and hear what they do in their businesses day to day. It’s definitely got me thinking about how I can incorporate some of those ideas into mine. It’s always refreshing going to events like this where you can bounce ideas, problems and experiences off people who are in the same boat.

I also entered the raffle to win a kayak… haven’t heard anything yet, but I’m feeling confident. 😆
