Two man job this one - Door wouldn’t close and was rubbing.

Whipped the door off - repaired the closer arm and adjusted the pivot and good as new!

Also replaced the cylinder as there wasn’t any keys for the previous one 🔐

Customer wanted a nightlatch feature on their composite door - this was achieved with new handles - but the same time we upgraded them to 2* handles with a 1* cylinder - this gives a 3* level of protection.

Old leyland horse box where the customer needed new keys made - no one wanted to touch it because it’s over 30 years old.

We don’t just program keys for vehicles -

VW tiguan 2019 spare Smart key programmed - significantly cheaper than the dealer

Customer complained the latch had broken.
As you can see the damage so we replaced with a new lock but transferred the levers so no need for new keys to handed out to the family.

Customer had a some worn out keys - rather than just program a whole new one we refreshed both, in new shells and cut new blades saving the customer significantly.

I wanted to give a shout out to Lewis at Colin Thompson & Sons Locksmiths as he's come to my rescue for the 2nd time!!
Once on a customer's driveway when the keys got locked inside the vehicle. Now this time with a lost set (we think they might have gone out with the bins 🙈😬).
In less than 24 hours he's been out, new remote key set up and a spare.
Super reasonable price too, I didn't have to mess around using my key cover!

Thank you, I'm sure I'll have the opportunity to use you again 🤦🏼‍♀️😅😂

Great to see that the media are picking up a story that we hear about a lot in our trade, of locksmiths taking advantage of vulnerable people.

We are upfront with our charges and proud members of the Master Locksmith Association, DBS checked and vetted.

A couple expecting to pay £50 for a locksmith say they ended up forking out more than £5,000.
