Recent project completed for a problem area on a deck

Decking area had sunk in the middle causing water to form a puddle & rot out the decking boards

So after lifting the problem boards & seeing the sub frame was also rotten
The best outcome was to remove all rotten timber & reinstate new pressure treated subframe & new boards on top

Also while I was there I was asked to replace the rotten balustrades & post to make everything more safe & usable

Something a little different today & takes me back to my days as a apprentice

Box frame wasn’t working due to the cords snapping
Each sash wasn’t working

So the answer was to remove both sashes & gain access to the pockets & thankfully the weights were still there 😊

Replace broken cords & put everything back together again & now a fully working sliding sash window
