Here are our log store systems, the galvanized mesh cages are designed to be stored in a garage or out building as well as being a self contained log store they can be used outside with our optional covers. The racks are for internal use, close to the fire (so not as to create a larger one!) great for getting that last few percentage of water out, although quite large in size and finished in matt black.

The new log cages slowly being developed, have tried going down the avenue of dog crates, but to small and to weak and the dog may not like all those sticks in his bed ;) so perhaps a more simple design that can be sack trucked into place. Maybe have wheels to? hmmm

Test selection from yesterdays coppicing. First test reading at 38 percent moisture. Which is pretty low considering its willow and sucks up water like its going out of fashion. These shall be seasoned inside to see how long they take to reach 20-25 percent. Then burnt in controlled conditions to calculate its calorific value.

If you are lucky enough to have a wood burner then you know the joys of sitting with your feet up in front of a blazing fire cooking away in 25 degree heat while the cold frost of the night tries to creep in through every gap and crevice. But getting the right size logs for your stove can be a real pain, and even more having to move and stack them! Most come split from larger trees in all sorts of shapes and sizes which are often to large for most multi fuel stoves and wood burners, and generally unceremoniously dumped on your drive. At log roll we aim to take the hassle out of your annual log run, our logs are grown specifically for wood burners, cut at 10" and supplied in various diameters from 2" to 4", there's no need to split further and you can build your fire up without smothering it to soon. We can deliver in 1 cube bulk bags or in quarter cube crates that we can wheel exactly where you want them! No having to wheel barrow a ton of logs from your drive any more and stacked before it rains, we've done the hard work for you! They are all stacked and ready to go, we wheel them in position, unwrap and off you go, when you need more, just give us a call and we'll pick up your old crate and replace it with a full new one! Why have a ton of logs taking up room in your garden or shed?!?

This old willow withy had been left for years unkept and over grown. The whole withy needs to be coppiced and seasoned ready for this winter. You can see how bent the cord had become and certainly needed a good trim! Cutting them back hard to the ground should encourage new growth to sprout around the stumps and allow the crowns to rise vertically instead of outwards as they have been. This will eventaully provide us with new perfectly straight and formed firewood in 5 years time ready to be coppiced again. A simple, renewable and eco friendly way to produce great logs for woodburning stoves.
