This is something new from Solar Go2, not too expensive and solves the problem a lot of Transporter owners know all too well. This is a semi-flexible inside a low profile aluminium housing which firms it up nicely. But more importantly it allows airflow under the panel; this crucial change makes for a panel that offers a 10 year warranty… most panels on a Transport pop-top are glued down across the entire panel, it’s sealed underneath and sits in the heat. Any trapped moisture boils inside the panel and after 3-5 years it needs replacing. That’s twice the cost over the same period of time with this version. it’s neat, it’s clean and it is efficient.
