We are delighted that planning permission has been granted for a new single-storey rear extension at our Whirlowdale project in Sheffield.

Our clients came to us after being told they would not be able to secure planning permission for additional roof windows at their redeveloped farmhouse on the moors.

Using our planning knowledge and experience, we developed a solution that addressed the lack of natural light and ventilation while respecting the property's sensitive setting.

Following negotiations with the planning authority, we achieved permission for the key additional roof windows and an enlarged kitchen window with a lowered sill to make the most of the beautiful views beyond.

Given the farmhouse’s location within the Peak Park Planning Authority and its highly sensitive environmental designations, this was a significant achievement for our clients and a great result for the project.
